About Us

  Dr. Chase graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 2001. He has done his postgraduate work in soft tissue injuries and rehab. He has concentrated his work in the study of fascia injuries. In the past he has worked with Olympic and professional athletes, and has been a team doctor for the Houston Hurricanes soccer team. Currently he is working with cheerleading clubs, gymnastics clubs and Katy Rugby clubs. He is also the team doctor for the Houston Stallions arena football team.
     
  Brandi Chase is a registered dietitian who received her Master’s in Nutrition in 2001 at Texas Woman's University. Mrs. Chase is registered and licensed in the state of Texas, and is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Houston Wellness Association, and Women's Health Network. Brandi has finished two full marathons and seven half marathons. Her next goal is to tackle triathlons
     
  Dr. Ramsey has been in practice for nine years, specializing in treating all types of pain including pain from muscle, nerve and bone. He works with a wide variety of people of all ages and enjoys treating sports-related injuries. Dr. Ramsey has worked closely with many sports teams in Houston.
     
  Adrienne Markwalter is the Marketer for The Athlete Stop. She will be graduating in 2012 from The University of Houston with a B.S. in Kinesiology - Sports Administration. Her passion is sports, and aspires to work for a professional sports team one day. Her favorite teams are the New Orleans Saints and LSU Tigers. Adrienne has been employed at The Athlete Stop since September 2011.
     
  John Steele is a doctor’s assistant for The Athlete Stop, and assists Dr. Chase with patients during their appointments. John is pursuing a B.S. in Kinesiology - Exercise Science. He is a transfer student from The University Mary Hardin-Baylor, and will be finishing his degree at The University of Houston. His favorite sport is baseball, and is currently a trainer for Camp Gladiator. John has been employed at The Athlete Stop since August 2011.
     
  Kendall Bumbera is the medical receptionist at The Athlete Stop, and is pursuing a radiology degree. Her passion is family and race car driving, and aspires to drive for a NASCAR team. Kendall has been employed at The Athlete Stop since October 2011.
