Dr. Rich Doss comes to The Athlete Stop from sunny San Diego, California, where he focused his chiropractic practice on working with the community’s many young families and athletes.

Known for his work with extremities (shoulders, knees, elbows, ankles, etc) and trauma, such as auto accident injuries, Dr. Doss has been recognized for the results he has helped his patients achieve through chiropractic, being honored as a “Best of” chiropractor in San Diego for six straight years.

In practice, Dr. Doss has been fortunate to work with people of all ages, caring for many families, pregnant moms to-be and kids. He has also worked with athletes of all ages and skill sets, including athletes from the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP), USA Rugby, Travis Pastrana’s Nitro Circus, the International Table Tennis Federation and pro skateboarders. With him, Dr. Doss brings to Katy an extensive knowledge of modern chiropractic techniques and a fresh perspective on Chiropractic’s role in injury recovery and athletic performance.

Dr. Rich Doss graduated from Life Chiropractic College West with Magna Cum Laude honors and clinical distinctions and has since pursued post-graduate education with a focus on extremity work, earning the title of CCEP (Certified Chiropractic Extremities Practitioner). While attending Chiropractic College, Dr. Doss also served as Student Body President and Captain of the Men’s softball team.

Dr. Doss continues to serve his community and profession, volunteering with various organizations. Dr. Doss has represented the chiropractic profession as a Board Member of his local California Chiropractic Association chapter and as a Board Member of the Life Chiropractic College West Alumni Association. He is also a mainstay of The Wave Chiropractic Conference, serving as the annual event’s emcee.

As an advocate of small business, Dr. Doss is engaged as a regular participant with his local Chambers of Commerce. He also serves his local community as a volunteer, recently working with the city’s Little League as an umpire and PA announcer and working with the Kappa Sigma International Fraternity as a mentor for young men in colleges throughout the country.

Dr. Doss and his wife recently relocated to Katy with their two young children and small dog. They have enjoyed exploring Katy and the Houston area and are so appreciative of the kind welcome and southern hospitality they’ve received.

In his spare time, Dr. Doss is a family man, an avid softball player, golfer and homebrewer.
